Escola S.A., a Polish technology company, has for the first time been included in the prestigious Financial Times FT 1000 - Europe's Fastest Growing Companies 2023 ranking.

Escola ranked 171st in the overall ranking of European companies and 28th among IT/Software companies in Europe. Out of 49 Polish companies, 26 are from the IT/Software sector.

The debut in the Financial Times ranking is a confirmation of our global aspirations and the dynamic development of the company - says Dr Krzysztof Wojewodzic, CEO Escola S.A. - The ranking shows that it is possible to develop a company with international potential from Poland. This is a valuable award for us because of the growing number of foreign orders. In 2022, 30.6 per cent of our revenue mix consisted of orders in USD and EUR together. We plan to increase the share of foreign currencies in the company's revenues in 2023.

Every year, at the beginning of March, the British newspaper Financial Times publishes a list of the 1000 fastest growing European companies, taking into account the highest percentage increase in turnover. This is the first time that Escola S.A. has been included in this ranking. The ranking includes companies from European countries such as Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

The Escola S.A. Group reported a 65% year-on-year increase in consolidated revenues to PLN 16.9 million in 2022, compared to PLN 10.2 million in 2021. The estimated EBITDA result is PLN 0.6 million. The final financial result was heavily influenced by investments in own subsidiaries and acquisitions, including the development of a team that already numbers just over 100 people. A 20-person team from the Katowice technology company IT.focus joined the company in 2022. In February this year Escola S.A. secured its first investor for one of its subsidiaries, Escola LMS, which develops the innovative Wellms.io e-learning platform - the ERC Sp. z o.o. fund invested PLN 1 million in the development of the AI platform.

Escola S.A. plans to debut on New Connect. The date of the debut will be decided in 2023, following the recommendation of the Supervisory Board.
